Your eyebrows are easily one of the most important parts of your makeup routine, but oftentimes, they are overlooked. Taking a few extra minutes to shape and fill in your eyebrows will make all the difference in the world, and with eyebrow mapping, it’s easy to determine just how your brows should look for your own face.
What is “Eyebrow Mapping”?
It is a term used to describe the process of shaping your eyebrows to frame your face.
It’s very easy, to shape your eyebrows! Follow the steps below:
Step 1: Take your eyebrow pencil/eyebrow brush/whatever tool you’re using and press against your nostril, lining it up straight with the inner part of your eye. This is where your eyebrow will start. I use benefit’s Brow Zings wax to mark where the brow should start, but you can really use any sort of eyebrow pencil.
Step 2: Next, hold the pencil/brush horizontally, with the base at the outer part of your nose. The pencil should go over the center of your pupil, or just outside of the corner of your pupil. Mark this spot. This is where the highest part of your eyebrow arch will be.
Step 3: Finish by lining up the pencil with the outer part of your nose with the outer part of your eye. Make your last mark. This is how you determine the length of your brow. If you’ve over plucked and your brow doesn’t go out that far, this is where you will fill in to extend your brow.
